Alberta A. Binghieri, of Wallkill, a retired dispatcher for Co-op City in the Bronx entered into rest, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at St. Luke's/Cornwall Hospital-Newburgh Campus. She was 79.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Yolanda Barone DeDomenico, Alberta was born February 3, 1934 in the Bronx.
She was a member of the Red Hats in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Survivors include her daughter, Laura Matadobra of Wallkill, grandchildren; Jason Matadobra and wife Kim, Jillian Landau and Martin A. Matadobra III, great grandchildren; Alina Botsford and Zakkary Matadobra. In addition to her parents, Alberta was predeceased by her husband John J. Binghieri, brother, William J. DeDomenico and son-in-law, Martin A. Matadobra, Jr.
Visitation for family and friends will take place, Monday, October 21, 2013 from 2 - 6 p.m. at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 North Plank Rd. (Rte 32), Newburgh. Funeral service will commence at 5:30 p.m.
Cremation will take place Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh. Burial of ashes will take place at the convenience of the family at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings on Hudson, NY.
