Andrew J. Juras Jr., of the Town of Newburgh, a retired engineer for IBM in Fishkill entered into rest Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 75.

The son of the late Andrew J. and Florence Beaudry Juras Sr., Andrew was born July 9, 1938 in Willimantic, CT.

Andrew proudly served his country from 1957 to 1961 in the US Air Force. He was a life long member and the Past Commander of the Storm King Power Squadron, a life member of Marlboro Yacht Club, Bethlehem Rod & Gun Club, National Rifle Assoc., Northeast Big Buck Club. An avid sportsman, he received three NRA Big Game Hunting awards and was published in the Northeast Trophy Whitetails, volumes V and VI.

Survivors include his wife, Mona Lisa Meade Juras at home, son, Robert J. Juras and wife Paola of Marlboro, daughter, Darlene Vinski and husband Paul of South Salem, NY. Grandchildren; Robert and Juliana Juras, Miranda and Kyle Vinski.

Visitation for family and friends will take place Friday, December 20th from 4 - 7 pm at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 North Plank Rd., (Rte. 32), Newburgh.

Funeral Mass will be offered 10 am, Saturday, December 21st at Sacred Heart Church, 25 S. Robinson Ave., Newburgh. Cremation will follow the Mass at Cedar Hill Crematory.
