Valentino L. Arcuri of the Town of Newburgh, the retired owner of Floors Unlimited in Mahopac, New York entered into rest Thursday, January 22, 2015. He was 91.
Valentino was born December 10, 1923 in Mt. Vernon, NY.
He proudly served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps. Valentino was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, the chaplain of VFW Post 1161 and the Newburgh Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 70 years, Doris Briggs Arcuri at home, sons: Dr. Michael Arcuri of California, Wayne Arcuri and his wife, Denise of North Carolina, Gerald Arcuri and his companion, Audrey West of Maryland, David Arcuri and his wife, Rosemarie of the Town of Newburgh; brother, Mauro Magliocchino and his wife, Pat of Thornwood, NY; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will take place Thursday, January 29th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Union Presbyterian Church, 44 Balmville Road, Newburgh, NY. Funeral service will commence 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Dave Mason will officiate.
Cremation will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
