Ralph M. Lauber Jr., of Brooksville, Florida formerly of the Town of Newburgh entered into rest Monday, April 20, 2015 at his home. He was 54.
The son of Ralph and Betty Ann McMillen Lauber Sr., Ralph was born May 9, 1960 in Newburgh.
He was an Eagle Scout, served as a volunteer from 1977-1991 for the Cronomer Valley Fire Dept., and served as chairman for the Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter Spinal Cord Society from 1988 - 2008. He was politically active and work tirelessly to improve rights and accessibility for handicapped individuals.
In addition to his parents, Ralph and Betty, he is survived by his sister Cathy Tarallo and her husband, Tullio; Nephew, Joseph Tarallo; nieces: Sarah Taylor and husband, Freddie, Dayna Cosh and husband, Dale; great nieces: Meghan and Mia Cosh; as well as, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Cronomer Valley Fire Dept., 296 North Plank Rd., Town of Newburgh., NY. Minister Steve Sherwood will officiate. Burial to follow the service at Gardnertown Cemetery, Union Ave., Newburgh. Following the cemetery, the family would like everyone to join them at the Cronomer Valley Fire House.
