Marie Piaquadio of the Town of Newburgh, a lecturer for Appetite Control in Wappingers Falls entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 16, 2016. She was 74 and a long time area resident.
Daughter of the late Louis and Concetta (Schalero) Tricomi, Marie was born June 27, 1941 in New York City.
Mom loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking for the holidays and Sunday dinners. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and enjoyed vacationing in Lake George with her family and spending winters with Dad in Florida.
Survivors include husband, Eugene Piaquadio Sr. at home; Eugene Piaquadio Jr. and wife, Lisa of Wallkill; Dean Piaquadio and wife, Tina of Montgomery; grandchildren: Guy, Nicholas, Michael, and Anthony; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends including her childhood friend, Josephine Zorat of Moonachie, NJ.
In addition to her parents, Marie was predeceased by her brother, Rosario Tricomi of Long Island NY; sister, Josephine D'Alessandro of the Bronx NY, and niece, Mara D'Alessandro of the Bronx NY.
Visitation for family and friends will take place Tuesday, March 22nd from 4 to 7 p.m. at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 North Plank Rd., (Route 32) Newburgh. Funeral Mass will be offered 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 23rd at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 433 South Plank Rd. (Route 52), Newburgh. Cremation will follow the Mass at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
