Henry F. Drouin, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Monday, May 21, 2018. He was 81.
Son of the late Henry L. and Virginia (Belucci) Drouin, he was born in Waterbury, CT on November 2, 1936.
Henry was a machinist for the former Star Expansion, Mountainville and in later years retired from the US Mint at West Point. He proudly served his country as a US Marine from 1954 to 1957, and was an avid bowler, golfer and dart player.
In addition to his wife Ruth at home, Henry is survived by two sons, Steven Drouin and his wife Denise of Pittsboro, NC and Terry Drouin and his wife Beatrice of Wallkill; two daughters, Krista L. Drouin Davis and her husband Eric of Poughkeepsie and Kim Johnson and her husband Daniel of Clifton Park and nine grandchildren, Andrew and Grant Drouin, Terry Drouin Jr. and Nicole Drouin, Paul Johnson, Matthew Johnson, James Johnson, Laura Johnson and Joshua Davis.
A Celebration of Henry’s Life will take place from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Road (Rt. 32), Newburgh NY. Family and friends are invited.
